NCI Witness Testimony: Kirk Desrosiers - Mar 18, 2023 - Truro, Nova Scotia

A fit and active volunteers firefighter, Kirk Desrosiers had two Pfizer shots within a month of each other. Nine days after the second shot Kirk felt pain in his lungs and his blood pressure test at the firehall showed his blood pressure to be dangerously high. At the hospital he was told he had an, “extremely large quantity of blood clots in both of my lungs”. Kirk is now unemployed and on two blood thinners, possibly for the rest of his life.

NCI Witness Testimony: Katrina Burns - Mar 18, 2023 - Truro, Nova Scotia

Pressured to be vaccinated by both her family and friends, Katrina, a substitute teacher declined to do so. She was subsequently removed from her position despite the support of many parents of students. A family history of heart problems, blood clots and aneurysyms sent Katrina to emergency during this stressful time, when she experienced a sharp pain shooting down her arm. The hospital triage immediately labelled her as “unvaccinated”.

NCI Witness Testimony: Linda Adshade - Mar 18, 2023 - Truro, Nova Scotia

Linda Adshade worked with public health in Nova Scotia notifying people of their negative PCR test results. She received a spreadsheet of all test results for the province each morning and began to see big discrepancies in what was being reported as positive cases. She said, “they were off by hundreds. Not two or three, hundreds. I started thinking, okay this is crazy. They are lying to people”.

NCI Witness Testimony: Josephine Fillier - Mar 18, 2023 - Truro, Nova Scotia

A very outgoing, energetic person before she received one shot of the Pfizer vaccine, Josephine Fillier still suffers from the adverse effects. Her doctor of 23 years disregards her symptoms saying they have nothing to do with the shot. Pleading with the doctor in his office Josephine told him, “I know something is wrong with me. I need help”.

Janessa Blauvert has been working on upgrading her education since 2016, entering nursing in 2018. She graduated with honors but was not able to complete her clinical placement due to the public health emergency. Janessa is still unable to work in her profession as she is not vaccinated.

NCI Witness Testimony: Scott Spidle - Mar 18, 2023 - Truro, Nova Scotia

Scott Spidle suffered COVID that left him struggling to breathe and then his lung collapsed. A nurse mistakenly unplugged his chest tube. Scott says his experience in the local hospital was completely different from any time before. Referring to the level of care he said, “A lot of the doctors, but mainly the nurses; they seemed scared or apprehensive of being near patients”.

Dr. Dion Davidson is a vascular surgeon who has lived in the Annapolis Valley for 15 years. He is now leaving because of the pandemic response there. Regarding the vaccines he states, “It’s one thing to promote a medical intervention like that to the public. To then force people to take that intervention is a whole new level”.

Dr. Aris Lavranos is a practising emergency medical doctor who is about to graduate from law school. He reports that he saw very little COVID during the pandemic and the most severely affected patients had several comorbidites. Dr. Lavranos said he is interested in, “pursuing a career in medical malpractice to try and hold hospitals and physicians accountable for the errors that led to the crisis we see”.
