Jody McPhee was a construction worker with her employer for seven years. Her father died days after receiving his second shot, Jody was fired from her job and told her religious exemption and vaccination status was a hardship to other employees. NCI Witness Testimony: Lee Harding - Apr 21, 2023 - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Lee Harding is a journalist and a regular reporter for the Epoch Times in Canada and the Western Standard online. He describes the events surrounding a rally he attended in Regina as a member of the press. No more than 10 people were allowed to congregate outside at the time. Lee asked the police at the event if he could cover it or was he going to get a ticket. He waited until people had left so he could interview one man. Police gave him a $2800 ticket anyway.

Kelcy Travis mother of six, tells of job losses, pregnancies and family stress during COVID. Kelcy revealed that she saw evil and corruption during the pandemic and a lack of transparency and accountability at all levels. Kelcy refused the shots but her partner had two shots as his grandma was dying. She is very concerned for his health. Kelcy said, “I think they use our hearts against us”.

NCI Witness Testimony: Chantel Kona Barreda - Apr 21, 2023 - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Chantel Barrada was a teacher working for an Indigenous band before COVID began. She lost her teaching position for not being vaccinated and suffered depression as a result. Despite having a Masters in Education, Chantel had a very difficult time securing another teaching position. Her grade 7 daughter suffered depression from loss of school and friends and had to seek counselling.

When federal public servant Bridgette Hounjet returned to work from maternity leave she faced a COVID vaccine mandate. As she did not trust the injections, she submitted a human rights accommodation, but this was denied. As a result, she was put on unpaid leave for five months, which she describes as the worst time in her life.

Krista Hamilton was coerced into taking the COVID injections on pain of job loss; subsequently she suffered a serious vaccine injury, as did her 21-year-old son, who developed myocarditis. Due to COVID hospital visiting restrictions, the family was not allowed to attend to a dying family member.

An English teacher to immigrants and refugees, Charlotte Garrett suffered a vaccine injury from her AstraZeneca shot and still suffers with tinnitus. Her employer accused her of being “an incredibly difficult person, undermining the health and safety of our students” because she kept questioning the masks being forced, even though the government said they were no longer needed. The mask exemption Charlotte received from her doctor was not accepted by her employer.

NCI Witness Testimony: Pastor Steven Flippin - Apr 21, 2023 - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Pastor Steven Flippin outlines that at the beginning of the pandemic his church followed the health orders and made concessions to comply with the government rules. Over time the rules lessened but, the church congregation was still not allowed to sing and Pastor Steven pointed out, “the King of the church is Jesus Christ and Him alone. Christ commands us to sing”. Frustrated by the numbers of people allowed in Costco at one time but not the church, the Pastor said, “our church was not in any way flaunting our choice of disobedience. We were simply going about our business quietly, peacefully and allowing any who chose to come in person and worship with us a space to worship”. The church received $250,000 in fines.

NCI Witness Testimony: Elodie Cossette - Apr 21, 2023 - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Terminated as a direct care support worker for a group home (a job she loved) and denied employment insurance, Elodie Cossette was forced to take on multiple jobs and draw retirement savings to stay out of debt after refusing the mandated vaccine. Two family members died from severe liver injuries post vaccination. Elodie is upset about the stigma against the unvaxxed created by the Prime Minister, not being able to access EI and the media distortion.
